Web 2.0: Do Now 9/29

An editorial is an article written by an editor with their own opinion. For example, in this editorial, this editor was explaining how Wikipedia is useful and helps many students. Students from Ivy League schools and even students in community college use Wikipedia. They even contribute content and edit many pages.
However, many of my teachers tell me not to use Wikipedia as a credible source. They preach on how the information provided is often incorrect. When my teachers give me papers for my research paper, it always mentions not to use Wikipedia in your citations page. They rarely let me use them on projects or homework. They don't believe it is a reliable source.
I still believe Wikipedia isn't a good thing to use, but it is definitely useful. Anyone can change information and I don't want to rely on information that can change. I don't think I will be using it in the future, but none the less, it can help so many other people.
